These are the terms for using mom’z list, the registry at list.momz.eu, made by mom’z (Shirin Fardi, Av. Costa Blanca 91A, 03450 Alicante, Spain, VAT ESY0917450V).

Using the product

mom’z list is free to use. You can make lists, share them, copy lists made by mom’z, and let people who care about you choose what to take care of. You do not need to pay anything.

We do not promise that the product will always be available or that it will work perfectly. We will do our best.

Your content

The contents of your lists belong to you. We do not claim ownership of anything you add. You give us permission to store and display your content so the product can work.

You can delete any list, any item, or your whole account at any time. When you delete your account, we remove your content within thirty days.

The lists we provide

We make a small set of starting lists — for pregnancy, postpartum, early months and so on. These are made carefully but they are not universal. Treat them as a beginning, not a prescription. We are not your doctor, midwife, or financial adviser.

Sharing lists

When you share a list, you choose who to send the link to. We do not publish your list publicly. People with the link can see your list and choose to take care of items. Anyone you send the link to may forward it.

Recipients of a shared list do not need an account. We collect their name (and optionally email) when they reserve an item, with their consent.

Surprises

If someone reserves an item with the “keep it a surprise” option, we hide their name from you but show that an item has been taken care of. We do not see this as deception — we see this as letting people give thoughtfully.

What you cannot do

You cannot use the product to harass people, share illegal content, or violate someone else’s privacy. You cannot try to break our systems, scrape our content, or use the product to build a competing product. If you do, we may close your account.

Things outside our control

If we link to a retailer, we do not control what they sell or how they sell it. If a recipient promises to take care of something and does not follow through, that is between you and them.

If something on our side goes wrong — an email does not arrive, the site is briefly down, an item gets reserved twice due to a glitch — we will fix it, but we are not liable for anything beyond that.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will email you. Continued use of the product means you agree to the updated version.

Closing your account

You can delete your account in /me/settings at any time. We will delete your data within thirty days. We may close an account if it has been used to violate these terms, with reasonable notice unless the violation is serious.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If there is a dispute we cannot resolve by talking, the courts of Alicante have jurisdiction. If you are an EU consumer, this does not affect your right to bring proceedings in your country of residence under EU consumer protection law.
